New York— The Sultanate of Oman and the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis inked a joint statement in New York to establish diplomatic connections based on cooperation and friendship.
Ambassador Omar Said Al Kithiri, Oman's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, signed the document on behalf of the Sultanate of Oman government, while Ambassador Mutryce Agatha Williams, Saint Kitts and Nevis' Permanent Representative to the United Nations, signed it on behalf of the Saint Kitts and Nevis government.
During the signing ceremony at Oman's Permanent Mission to the United Nations, the Permanent Representative of Saint Kitts and Nevis conveyed greetings from Dr. Terrance Drew, Prime Minister, and Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Kitts and Nevis, to the Omani government. She stated her country's intention to strengthen bilateral connections between the two countries.
Ambassador Al Kithiri stated that the Omani government welcomes this significant development, which reflects both governments' commitment to establishing diplomatic ties in order to create the groundwork for greater dialogue and cooperation, serving the interests of both countries and their people.
