Algiers: A group of Algerian parliament members, scholars, analysts, and prominent media personalities have emphasized the significance of the state visit by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to Algeria today. This visit aligns with ongoing economic and political changes on a global scale and is expected to foster economic collaboration between the two nations, alongside discussions on political matters.
Dr. Ali Mohammed Rabiej, an academic and parliament representative, stated that this visit would greatly influence the bilateral relations by addressing various issues pertinent to Arab nations, including the Palestinian cause, as well as bilateral investments and knowledge transfers. He noted that this visit could enhance cooperation and expand their partnership into new territories.

Amroun Mohammed, the chairman of the Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Algerian Community Abroad Committee within the National People’s Assembly, pointed out that His Majesty's visit occurs less than a year after Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's trip to the Sultanate of Oman.
He asserted that this visit reaffirms the fruitful outcome of President Tebboune's earlier visit to Oman.
Journalist and researcher Ghadir Siham remarked that His Majesty's visit is historically significant, marking the first of its kind in 52 years.
She noted that the relationship between the two nations has witnessed extraordinary advancements, highlighted by the mutual visits and communications exchanged by officials from both sides.
