Sayyid Badr, Iranian Counterpart Discuss Developments Of Iran-US Negotiations

Tehran: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister, held a meeting with Dr. Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in Tehran on Sunday.

The two ministers explored various ideas and proposals concerning the Iran-US negotiations, aiming to establish an agreement that fairly, practically, and bindingly addresses the priorities and concerns of both sides while promoting regional security and stability.

Furthermore, a joint meeting took place involving Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, the Foreign Minister; Dr. Abbas Araghchi, the Iranian Foreign Minister; and Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

During this gathering, they discussed the most recent developments in the Iran-US talks in the context of Oman's mediating efforts.

Both the Omani Foreign Minister and his Iranian counterpart expressed their appreciation for Qatar's initiative to organize this productive meeting and discussions on enhancing dialogue while reconciling differing viewpoints to arrive at agreements that would facilitate a successful deal between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran. Such an agreement would play a crucial role in bolstering the pillars of regional and global security and stability.
