Muscat: On Thursday, the National Library of Oman hosted a panel discussion as part of the 29th edition of the Muscat International Book Fair, focusing on its cultural and intellectual significance.
This dialogue emphasized the contributions of Omani individuals to civilization from the inception of Islam. It also discussed the national bibliography and underscored its importance in maintaining Omani intellectual achievements and manuscripts, as well as its crucial role in protecting national intellectual heritage.
Additionally, the discussion explored different facets of the Children’s Library, highlighting its importance in cultivating “aware readers” and promoting understanding of human development from early childhood.
