Sur: The wave breaker restoration project in Tiwi, the Wilayat of Sur in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, which is being carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources, is an important initiative contributing to the construction and improvement of infrastructure for fishing ports and fish landing locations.
The project creates a safe environment for anglers, facilitates boat mobility, increases fish output, and promotes sustainable development in coastal communities by protecting coastal regions from the effects of severe waves and tidal events.
