Muscat: On Tuesday, the Sultanate of Oman will take part in IMEX Frankfurt 2025, a premier global exhibition dedicated to the incentive travel and conference sectors. The three-day event will take place in Frankfurt, Germany.
Oman seeks to showcase its varied tourism offerings and strengthen its status as a leading destination for incentive travel, conferences, and exhibitions through this involvement.
This participation aligns with the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism's initiative to draw in business tourism and international events, in addition to boosting the tourism sector's contribution to the GDP. The meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions market is a fundamental component supporting this initiative.
The Oman pavilion at the exhibition will include 17 tourism companies, institutions, and hotel properties that represent the nation's tourism sector. This includes tour operators, event and conference planners, and the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Khalid Waleed Al Zadjali, Director of the Oman Convention Bureau at the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, highlighted the significance of attending this exhibition as it provides a vital opportunity to engage with prominent global business tourism and event organizers. He pointed out that Oman will demonstrate its capabilities in hosting international conferences, exhibitions, and meetings.
He also mentioned that this participation will aim at establishing strategic partnerships with industry leaders and seeking new avenues to attract prestigious events, thereby further elevating Oman’s regional and global reputation.
