Geneva: The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Cuba have signed a memorandum of collaboration (MoC) in the fields of health and medical sciences in Geneva. The MoC aims to improve collaboration, share knowledge, and strengthen health care systems in both nations. The MoC will help to use skills and possibilities in a concrete and complete way.
Dr. Hilal Ali Al Sabti, the Minister of Health, signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MoC) alongside Dr. José Angel Portal Miranda, the Republic of Cuba's Minister of Public Health.
The Memorandum of Collaboration calls for the interchange of medical workers, the execution of specialized training programmes, and the conduct of collaborative research in the fields of medicine and health sciences.
The MoC was signed on the fringes of the 78th World Health Assembly, which is presently taking place at the World Health Organization (WHO) headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
