HM The Sultan Leaves The Netherlands

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik departed from the Kingdom of the Netherlands this evening following a three-day state visit.

At Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, His Majesty was bid farewell by Rear Admiral Ludger Brummelaar, Chief of the Military House of the King, along with Reinette Klever, Minister for Foreign Trade and Development, and several officials from the Netherlands.

Before leaving, His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik sent a message of gratitude to King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands.

In his message, His Majesty conveyed his heartfelt thanks for the generous welcome and hospitality he received during his visit, along with that of his accompanying delegation.

His Majesty praised the fruitful discussions held with the King and the Prime Minister, highlighting the opportunity to enhance bilateral relations and explore new avenues for collaboration across various sectors.

The Sultan expressed his hopes for the King and Queen to achieve ongoing success in fulfilling the aspirations for progress and prosperity of the Dutch people.

During this visit, His Majesty was accompanied by a distinguished delegation, which included HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Gen. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Dr. Madeeha bint Ahmed Al Shaibani, Minister of Education; Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of Oman Investment Authority; Eng. Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; and Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Salim Al Harthy, Ambassador of Oman to the Netherlands.
