Muscat: The Indian Embassy in Muscat celebrated India's 79th Independence Day with a flag-raising event on the Embassy grounds today.
G.V. Srinivas, India's Ambassador to Oman, raised the national flag and sang the National Anthem. A large number of individuals from the Indian community attended the event.
