Salalah– Today, the fourth annual School Beach Games Championship came to an end on the sandy courts of the Sultan Qaboos Youth Compound for Culture and Entertainment in Salalah. Beach handball and beach volleyball were both included in the event.
More than 150 individuals, including students, instructors, administrators, organizers, referees, and media professionals from nine educational directorates, attended the event.
The Muscat Educational Directorate squad won the beach handball event, followed by the South A'Sharqiyah Educational Directorate team in second and the A'Dakhiliyah Educational Directorate team in third.
In beach volleyball, the South A'Sharqiyah Educational Directorate squad won first place, followed by the North Al Batinah Educational Directorate team in second, and the Muscat Educational Directorate team in third.
Faisal Ali Al Nahdi, Assistant Director General of the Directorate General of Culture, Sports, and Youth in Dhofar Governorate, awarded the top-ranking teams in beach handball and beach volleyball at the conclusion of the event and praised the organizations that helped the championship succeed.
