His Majesty the Sultan praised the opportunity to meet with a delegation of business leaders from Russia, acknowledging their strong interest in furthering cooperation in the areas of energy, agriculture, and trade. He remarked that numerous individuals have begun to visit each other and set up business offices. His Majesty conveyed Oman’s desire to increase its investment footprint in Russia, with the Oman Investment Authority actively engaging with pertinent Russian organizations.
In closing, His Majesty the Sultan expressed heartfelt thanks to the Russian officials who recently traveled to Oman and conveyed hopes for continued visits from Omani representatives to Moscow.

President Putin acknowledged the Sultan's previous visits to Russia and reminded that in 1985, His Majesty signed the agreement to establish diplomatic relations between the two nations. He mentioned that this year marks the 40th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
