Muscat: A citizen has been apprehended by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) for operating his vehicle in a dangerous manner, lacking identification plates, and crashing into both a police patrol and a lamppost in the Al Khaburah region of the North Al Batinah Governorate.
In a statement released by the ROP, it was noted: "In collaboration with the Special Tasks Police Unit in Al Khaburah, the North Al Batinah Police Command has detained an individual for removing his vehicle's license plates, engaging in reckless driving at a social gathering, causing disturbance to public order, and colliding with a police patrol and lamppost while attempting to escape and conceal the vehicle. ".
