Muscat: On Tuesday, Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) hosted a dialogue session in its conference hall to explore the Unified Promotional Identity Project for Oman, attended by a select group of project representatives.
The session included a presentation that underscored the significance of Oman’s promotional identity as a means of global communication and a driver for investment opportunities and international initiatives.
It was highlighted that this promotional identity originates from the Omani citizen and is designed to enhance Oman’s role in the global economic landscape.
Aisha Al Saifiya, the head of the Unified Promotional Identity Project, discussed the key challenges faced by the team, particularly addressing the question: “Why an identity?” and the anticipated benefits of the project for the Sultanate of Oman.
Al Saifiya also elaborated on the initiatives taken to engage citizens in promoting the project and to shape Oman’s image as a center for diverse experiences and enrichment, while ensuring that both the ancient and contemporary aspects of Omani heritage are represented in a modern, abstract manner.
