Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has expressed its approval regarding the establishment of the Vice President position for the State of Palestine.
The Sultanate of Oman has shown support for the decision made by the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization to form the role of Vice President for the Executive Committee of the State of Palestine. His Excellency Hussein Al-Sheikh has been appointed to this esteemed position.
In a statement released today by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Sultanate of Oman congratulated His Excellency on his new responsibilities and extended best wishes for his success. It conveyed hope that this development would enhance Palestinian unity and aid in fulfilling their legitimate aspirations, particularly the realization of all their rights and the establishment of an independent state.
