Minsk: On Wednesday, the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Belarus signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the area of healthcare in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The agreement was signed by Dr. Hilal bin Ali Al Sabti, Bahrain's Minister of Health, and Alexander Khodzhayev, Belarus' Minister of Health.
The MoU specifies cooperation in various medical areas, such as healthcare services, medical education, personnel training, and collaborative professional development projects. It also promotes the exchange of expertise, cooperative medical research, mutual access to pharmaceuticals and medical equipment, reciprocal training programs, and expert visits.
In a related move, Dr. Al Sabti visited the offices of Minskintercaps, a Belpharmprom Group member firm, where he was updated on Belarus' healthcare system, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and the company's medical and pharmaceutical activities.
