Muscat: Dr. Abdullah Nasser Al Harrasi, the Minister of Information, has emphasized that the introduction of the Kids’ Interface on the Ayn platform stems from the vision of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, reflecting his commitment to fostering the growth and potential of Omani youth.
In a recent press release, he stated, "This initiative represents a significant move toward developing meaningful media content directed at children, who are a crucial element of Oman’s future. This interface serves not merely as a source of entertainment but as an all-encompassing educational environment that caters to the psychological, educational, and ethical development of Omani children, while remaining in tune with global digital trends. "
He further remarked, "Children today are active participants in knowledge creation and future developments. Hence, the Kids’ Interface has been crafted to offer content that resonates with them, ignites their curiosity, and reinforces their Omani identity and values. It includes illustrated narratives, straightforward educational programs, and captivating audiovisual resources that enhance thinking, language, and communication abilities in a manner that is suitable for their age and attractive to them. "
"We hold the belief that a robust society is founded in childhood. The interface provides a safe and enjoyable option that links children to their culture, identity, and life in Oman. Looking forward, we intend to augment its features by incorporating interactive educational games that foster creative and innovative learning," Dr. Abdullah highlighted.
He wrapped up by saying, "We are devoted to the ongoing enhancement of the platform in partnership with specialists in childhood development, education, digital media, and teaching methodologies. Our aim is to establish it as a national effort that unites families, educators, and communities—cultivating a generation poised to contribute to Oman’s progress and development. ".
