UAE Carries Out 80th Airdrop Of Humanitarian Aid Under Birds Of Goodness Operation To Support Gaza

Abu Dhabi: The UAE continues to extend humanitarian assistance to the Palestinian population in the Gaza Strip, having completed the 80th airdrop of relief supplies on Monday as part of the "Birds of Goodness Operation," which is carried out in collaboration with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and involves contributions from Germany and Indonesia.

The most recent airdrop consisted of essential food supplies, prepared with the aid of Emirati charitable organizations and institutions, aimed at addressing the urgent needs of Gaza's residents amidst severe humanitarian challenges.

With this latest delivery, the total aid provided by the UAE through this operation has exceeded 4,068 tonnes, encompassing food and vital relief materials. This underscores the UAE's unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people and enhancing their resilience.

These efforts underscore the UAE's leading role in international humanitarian relief by fostering both regional and global cooperation and promoting a culture of generosity to alleviate the suffering of those impacted by crises.
