Lilongwe, (Malawi): Amararam Gujar, the newly appointed High Commissioner-designate of India to Malawi, presented his credentials to His Excellency Dr. Lazarus McCarthy Chakwera, the President of the Republic of Malawi, during a ceremony at the Kamuzu Palace.
During the official proceedings, the High Commissioner-designate signed the visitors’ book at the State House and reviewed the Guard of Honour.
This event highlighted the warm and enduring relationship between India and Malawi, with both countries reaffirming their dedication to enhancing bilateral cooperation in political, economic, and cultural areas.
Amararam Gujar extended India’s best wishes for the ongoing peace, progress, and prosperity of Malawi, expressing optimism that the friendship between the two nations will continue to strengthen in the future.
