According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), the highest temperature recorded in the Sultanate of Oman in the previous 24 hours was a scorching 47. 6°C in Sohar.
Following Sohar, Suwaiq (46. 5° Celsius) and Shinas (45. 8° Celsius) were the hottest places in Oman.
