The Sultanate of Oman has hailed Armenia's decision to create a permanent embassy in Muscat and grant Omani people tourist visas for admission to Armenia.
It informed the Armenian side of Oman's decision to place Armenian nationals on a list of nations forbidden from entering the Sultanate of Oman without a visa.
This was discussed during the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Armenia's fifth round of political negotiations in Yerevan.
Sheikh Khalifa Ali al Harthy, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Political Affairs, led the Omani team, while Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Foreign Minister, led the Armenian team.
