Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) detained two Pakistani nationals on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The suspects were caught by the South Al Batinah Governorate Police Command's Directorate for Combating Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, in collaboration with Al Buraimi Governorate Police, in possession of a substantial quantity of crystal methamphetamine and over 7,300 psychotropic tablets.
Authorities verified that the confiscated illicit items were displayed after the operation, emphasizing their commitment to combating drug-related offenses and safeguarding public safety.
The arrested individuals are currently in police custody, with legal proceedings underway.
