Muscat: His Excellency the Omani Minister of Foreign Affairs is engaged in ongoing talks and communications with a number of his counterparts from friendly nations concerning the brutal Israeli military assault against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its severe security implications for the region.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs (MoF) issued a statement saying, "Ongoing consultations and communications between His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamoud Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign, and a number of his counterparts from brotherly and friendly countries regarding the brutal Israeli military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran and its serious security repercussions on the regional scene. " His Excellency underlined the necessity of increasing international diplomatic and political pressure to stop this unlawful and irresponsible aggression, as well as to apply international law to regain security, stability, and peace.
In a similar vein, His Excellency the Minister reaffirmed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' continual around-the-clock efforts to assist Omani citizens seeking to return to their native land.
His Excellency the Minister emphasized that the Ministry has provided direct contact numbers in Muscat and Tehran, according to the geographical distribution of residents, in addition to the option of communicating through the Ministry of Foreign app or WhatsApp.
