NDC Commandant Receives Pakistani Delegation

A group from the National Defence University of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan was received in the office of Rear Admiral Ali Abdullah Al Shidi, Commandant of the National Defense College (NDC), at Bait Al Falaj Camp in Muscat today.

The meeting covered a number of military issues that were of common concern to both parties.

A briefing on the college, its amenities, and its equipment was given to the delegation that was visiting. Additionally, they visited the many divisions of the NDC.

Members of the academic faculty at the NDC and the Military Attaché of Pakistan's embassy in Muscat were present at the meeting.

Members of the visiting delegation also paid a visit to the Academy for Strategic and Defence Studies' Joint Command and Staff College at the same time.

Brigadier Saif Hamad Al Yousefi, Commandant of the Joint Command and Staff College, welcomed the guests upon their arrival at the institution.

The group saw a demonstration of the Joint Command and Staff College, its curriculum, and its training courses. They also visited the university's departments and facilities.
