Salalah: The tenth edition of the Clubs Competition for Cultural Creativity finished on Thursday at Salalah's Sultan Qaboos Youth Compound for Culture and Entertainment. The Directorate General of Culture, Sports, and Youth in the Dhofar Governorate organized the event.
Dr. Hamid Ali Al Mashaikhi, Director of the Directorate's Culture Department, gave a speech in which he emphasised that the contest demonstrates the Ministry's commitment to nurturing young talents, developing creative skills, and empowering individuals to actively contribute to the governorate's cultural scene.
Moosa Abdullah Al Qasabi, Director General of Culture, Sports, and Youth in Dhofar Governorate and the ceremony's patron, awarded the heads of youth committees from Dhofar's clubs, first-place winners in several competition categories, as well as supporting organizations and individuals who helped make the event a success.
It is worth noting that the Clubs Competition for Cultural Creativity seeks to strengthen institutional work inside clubs, discover and develop young talent, and promote national values through literary, cultural, artistic, technical, and athletic fields. These include classical and classic poetry, debates, visual arts, music, innovation and entrepreneurship, esports, and sports criticism.
