Muscat: China's Foreign Ministry stated that the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel is harming regional peace and stability. It emphasized that it is maintaining communication with the Sultanate of Oman and the parties engaged in the dispute to deescalate tensions as quickly as feasible.
According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian, Israel's actions breach international law and the principles regulating international relations, encroach on Iran's sovereignty and security, and threaten regional peace and stability. He also emphasized that the crisis has interfered with indirect talks on the Iranian nuclear issue.
He stated that, at this critical juncture, the international community, particularly regional nations, must maintain unified efforts in support of justice, establish global momentum to oppose war, advocate for peace, and encourage a political solution.
