Muscat: This evening, the Italian Embassy in the Sultanate of Oman held a spectacular ceremony at the famous Grand Hyatt Muscat Hotel to commemorate Festa della Repubblica, Italy's National Day.
The celebration welcomed prominent guests from Omani government organizations, diplomatic groups, commercial and cultural communities, as well as Italian people living in Oman.
The reception commemorated the deep and deepening ties of friendship and collaboration between Italy and Oman.
In his welcome speech, H. E. Pierluigi D'Elia, Italy's Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, emphasized the strong historical ties and common ideals that bind the two countries.
"Italy and Oman have a deep relationship based on mutual respect and a shared desire for peace, cultural exchange, and sustainable development. This evening is a celebration of the Italian Republic as well as the lasting bond between our peoples," the ambassador stated.
Italy's National Day celebration in Muscat represents a symbolic reaffirmation of the country's commitment to international collaboration, notably with the Sultanate of Oman, in order to address shared issues and advance peace and stability.
