Al Buraimi: The Al Buraimi Governorate Job Opportunities Forum 2025 began on Sunday under the direction of Sayyid Dr. Hamad Ahmed Al Busaidi, Governor of Buraimi.
The Al Buraimi Governorate and the University of Al Buraimi work together to organise the event, with support from numerous government and private sector organisations.
The forum is in line with national initiatives to increase the employment of Omani talent, offer direct job opportunities for the governorate's residents, support professional empowerment pathways, and improve job seekers' preparedness for Oman’s various labor market sectors.
The opening ceremony included two visual presentations that focused on the forum's goals, key themes, interactive components, and success stories featuring employment initiatives for the governorate's youth.
The forum will feature specialised workshops on the vital needs of job seekers over two days (June 15-16). These seminars address a wide range of topics, including the future of employment in the AI era, career path planning, optimizing professional profiles on employment platforms, entrepreneurship, CV writing strategies, interview skills, and career orientation.
The forum intends to assist career guidance initiatives by providing an interactive atmosphere in which young may take advantage of existing opportunities while developing competencies that correspond with Oman's developmental goals and labor market demands.
