Muscat: "Oman Airports" today signed an agreement with Singapore's Changi Airports International to improve commercial and aeronautical earnings for "Oman airports".
The agreement seeks to build initial strategic cooperation between the two organizations, based on the concept of genuine partnership for the exchange of ideas and skills, while promoting the development of critical projects that will enrich the entertainment and commercial experience for visitors and tourists.
Changi Airport will supply realistic options to boost revenue streams for Oman Airports under this arrangement, acting as an active participant in the creation of new solutions. These include land leasing and the creation of unique activity zones for visitors and local people, among other things.
The agreement was signed by Eng. Ahmed Said Al Amri, CEO of Oman Airports, and Eugene Gan, CEO of Changi Airports International.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Eng. Said Hamoud Al Maawali, Minister of Transport, Communications, and Information Technology, as well as Chairman of Oman Airports' Board of Directors.
