North Al Sharqiyah Governorate Showcases Development Projects

Ibra: On Wednesday, the Governorate of North Al Sharqiyah evaluated its current and planned development projects during a meeting in the Wilayat of Ibra.

The meeting focused on development, urban, and service projects worth over OMR100 million in the governorate, as well as a number of tourism, real estate, and heritage projects.

Attendees were briefed on projects in the Al Mudhaibi Industrial City, which has received over OMR11 million in investment, as well as the Souq Al Mawared project in the Wilayat of Sinaw, which is projected to cost OMR10 million.

Furthermore, the meeting addressed the second phase of the water distribution system project in the Wilayat of Al Mudhaibi, which is now underway with a budget of more than OMR15 million. The Ministry of Economy and the Projects, Tenders, and Local Content Authority also gave presentations highlighting the ministry's efforts in monitoring numerous projects across Oman's governorates and the authority's role in approving tenders, projects, and promoting local content.

Dr. Said Mohammed Al Saqri, Minister of Economy, Eng. Badr Salim Al Maamari, Chairman of the Projects, Tenders, and Local Content Authority, Mahmoud Yahya Al Dhuhli, Governor of North Al Sharqiyah, and other dignitaries attended the meeting.
