US, Iran 'close' To Nuclear Deal, Says Donald Trump

Doha: According to Al Jazeera, US President Donald Trump stated that the US is nearing a nuclear agreement with Iran, citing very serious discussions for long-term stability.

Trump made the comments in Qatar on the second day of his Gulf tour on Thursday, before moving to the United Arab Emirates, saying that Tehran has somewhat consented to the conditions.

Trump stated that the United States is engaged in extremely serious talks with Iran for lasting peace.

We will not be creating nuclear dust in Iran, he said. I believe we are getting closer to perhaps reaching an agreement without having to do this.

Trump stated that he was inspired by Iran's new comments. You most likely heard about the tale of Iran today. It's sort of agreed to the terms, he explained.

According to Al Jazeera, Trump did not say which comments he was referring to, but Ali Shamkhani, an advisor to Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, told US media this week that Tehran was ready to agree to significant limits on its nuclear program.

I want them [Iran] to prosper, to grow into a magnificent country, Trump said on Thursday, but they cannot have a nuclear weapon; that is the only thing, it is very straightforward.

The US and Iran have boosted negotiations, with the fourth round of discussions taking place in Oman. A new offer has been made to Tehran during the fourth round of negotiations, and both parties have indicated a desire for a peaceful settlement. However, according to Al Jazeera, major variances exist.

Trump and Iranian authorities have issued noteworthy declarations. Trump characterized Iran as the most destructive force in the Middle East, prompting a fierce reaction from Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian. Pezeshkian blamed the US of encouraging regional instability and said Trump's aim is to foment discontent in Iran.

Trump believes he can punish and threaten us before discussing human rights. According to him, all of the crimes and regional unrest are caused by the United States. He wants to create chaos in Iran.

Meanwhile, Qatar has played a critical mediating role between the United States and Iran. Trump commended Qatar's Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, stating that Iran should thank him for opposing military action.

Speaking in Doha, Trump stated that Iran should give a huge thank you to Qatar's emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, who begged the US president to avoid military intervention. Iran is extremely fortunate to have the emir, since he is really battling for them. Trump said that he does not want us to launch a severe attack on Iran.

Trump's three-country trip of the Gulf state region will end on Thursday in the United Arab Emirates (local time).
