Adam: The Wilayat of Adam in Al Dakhiliyah The Governorate is now seeing the implementation of a number of service and municipal projects aimed at improving public service efficiency, with a total cost of more than OMR2.43 million.

These initiatives cover a variety of industries, including internal road paving, market construction, and the creation of recreational facilities, as part of a comprehensive strategy to spread development throughout the governorate's wilayats.
Sheikh Hilal Said Al Hajri, the Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, emphasized that the continuing projects focus on critical areas that immediately affect people's everyday life.
Among the most notable are the development of a vegetable and fruit marketplace, which is 75% complete, and the design and construction of an internal road network totaling around 35 kilometers.
The consultancy services project for the design of existing roads has been completely finished (100%), while work on the AlHandali industrial design continues, with progress around 40%.
The Wilayat of Adam has also benefited from various development efforts totaling over OMR1.2 million, including the building of market shades, an animal feed market with essential services, the repair of damaged road sections, and street lighting connecting to public amenities such as the Adam Public Park.
Furthermore, the road leading to Adam Air Base has undergone expansion work and lighting installations, as well as the provision and installation of 257 streetlight posts along the AdamSinaw Road (Phase 1), totaling 13.5 kilometers.
Adam Public Park is a significant step toward improving community infrastructure in the wilayat. The park spans 250,000 square metres and is undergoing extensive development to turn it into an integrated tourist and recreational destination for all levels of society.
Dr. Mohammed Ali Za'abnoot Al Mahri, Wali of Adam, stated that these development projects are the visible benefits of decentralised development strategies.
He highlighted the constant cooperation between the Governor's Office, local municipal councils, and other organizations, which has greatly expedited project completion.
He also emphasized the significance of field follow-ups to check on implementation specifics.
Nasser Mohammed Al Dar'ei, a member of the Municipal Council representing Adam, stated during his turn that road lighting projects are a municipal priority since they have a direct impact on safety and mobility. He stated that the improvements to AdamSinaw Road are consistent with this goal.
Sultan Said Al Mahrouqi, another Municipal Council member, stated that the current projects boost the wilayat's economy while preparing it to welcome visitors and investors.
He emphasized the importance of excellent infrastructure and appealing architecture in increasing investment attractiveness and encouraging tourism.
