Muscat: Dr. Rahma Ibrahim Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, met with Edwin van Huis, General Director of the Kingdom of the Netherlands' Naturalis Biodiversity Centre, and Marjolein van Breemen, Director of the Naturalis Biodiversity Centre Museum, today in her office.
During the conference, both parties discussed ways to improve cooperation in the field of consulting services, as well as crafting a master plan to construct an integrated national center that would perform a variety of functions, including research and genetic resource conservation. The center is intended to be developed in Sultan Haitham City.
Dr. Saif Abdullah Al Hadabi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, as well as numerous Ministry officials, attended the meeting.
