Kuwait The Sultanate of Oman participated in the 73rd meeting of GCC Finance Undersecretaries, which was held in Kuwait to prepare for the 123rd session of the Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee.
The Omani delegation was led by Abdullah Salem AlHarthy, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Finance.
The meeting examined significant agenda items, such as the results of the GCC Central Bank Governors Committee, the Customs Union Authority, the Heads of Tax Authorities Committee, and the GCC Common Market Committee.
The sessions addressed technical developments in the GCC Free Trade Agreement negotiations, studies/projects being conducted by the Economic and Development Affairs Authority, and the signing/ratification of the GCC Payment Linkage Agreement.
The conference also discussed the GCC Economic Integration Program and progress on decisions made during the 122nd Financial and Economic Cooperation Committee session.
