Dubai- The Oman Tourism Development Company, known as OMRAN Group, in collaboration with Mohsin Haider Darwish, referred to as MHD Group, has unveiled plans for a hyper-luxurious resort in Musandam, branded as ‘ALIĒ NIVAS’.
This significant project aims to enhance Oman’s tourism landscape by offering a sophisticated experience that aims to establish the Sultanate of Oman as a leading luxury destination both regionally and globally.
The innovative nature of this development showcases a successful partnership between public and private sectors and is in line with national initiatives that seek to introduce refreshing hospitality ideas that harmonize luxury with the natural environment. It also addresses the rising global interest in unique, immersive, and unconventional travel options.
Hashil Obaid Al Mahrouqi, who serves as CEO of OMRAN Group, remarked: “This initiative embodies OMRAN Group’s commitment to leveraging Oman’s rich natural resources to develop high-quality tourism locales that boost the nation's competitive edge on a global scale. Furthermore, it illustrates our goal of becoming the preferred partner for top investors and hospitality leaders, fostering sustainable ventures with enduring socio-economic benefits. ”
Surrounded by the pristine landscapes of Musandam, ALIĒ NIVAS will offer 30 villas perched on cliffs, boasting panoramic ocean views and ensuring a high level of privacy and luxury. Guests can indulge in a Michelin-starred dining experience, offering culinary delights that celebrate both authenticity and sophistication. A well-crafted wellness experience will be central to the retreat’s spa offerings, featuring private spa suites designed for profound, uninterrupted relaxation.
Lujaina Mohsin Darwish, Chairperson of MHD-ITICS, expressed: “Our partnership with OMRAN Group aligns with our vision for a thoughtfully designed and impactful diversification strategy. We take great pride in being part of this exceptional project, which combines innovation, environmental care, and outstanding guest experiences, all while contributing to the enhancement of one of Oman’s most breathtaking natural sites. ”
The management of the resort will be entrusted to Van de Bunt International, known as VDBI, a boutique hotel group recognized for its creation of high-end retreats integrated with nature in secluded and awe-inspiring locales. In recognition of the distinctive nature of this project, VDBI has introduced a dedicated brand — ALIĒ NIVAS — specifically for this resort. This will be the brand’s inaugural presence in Oman and serves as its flagship offering within the group’s curated collection.
